It is hard to beat hunting and fishing, but another way to enjoy the great outdoors is to spend some time on the golf course. On Thursday of this week I played in the “Golf for the Red” Red Cross benefit tournament at the Whitetail Golf Resort. It was a new experience for me. I’d been golfing only a two or three other times in my life, and the most recent outing was several years ago. It turned out to be great fun even though there was a little bit of rain to deal with. Golf is a pretty expensive hobby for my blood, but I might have to get out the clubs a bit more often in the future.
